Using social media marketing is really new to me. I started working with an social media marketing firm and they told me it’s really a lot like networking in the local community. The social media marketing company gives your website visibility in online communities where your potential customers visit one another and look for advice and recommendations about products. By establishing a presence in these online social communities, you can be represented as a trusted member of the community. In a way, I guess it’s like being a member of the local chamber of commerce or other community organizations.
